Planning a visit with a large group? We've got you covered! The Watersnood Museum is an ideal venue for receptions, gatherings, dinners, or corporate events. We also offer multiple rooms to host and accommodate groups.
Introductions
Visiting with a group larger than 15 people? You can enhance your museum experience with an introductory session.
Before exploring the museum, your group will gather in one of our rooms. While enjoying a traditional Zeeuwse bolus and a drink, you'll listen to an introduction about the museum and the Watersnood disaster. This introduction lasts about 20 minutes.
We can tailor the content of the session to suit your group's background and interests.

Guided Tours
Visiting with a group larger than 15 people? You can enhance your museum visit with a guided tour.
One of our volunteers will lead your group through the museum, exploring each caisson in detail. You’ll learn about the key themes of the disaster: How did it happen? What emotions did it evoke? How did people rebuild the country? And what role does climate change play in sea levels and our safety today?
