Workshop: Traces of the Future in the Landscape

Can we already take a look at the landscape of tomorrow? Could a brick or a tree carry the traces of a flood that has yet to happen? And what can we learn from the marks left behind in the clay and the waterlines by a disaster like the 1953 flood?
Please note: this workshop will be in English
In 1953, the sea reshaped the land, leaving deep traces in our memory and the ground. With more of our territory projected to disappear beneath the water in the future, the question is: how will we handle this, and what will we remember.
Led by designers Roberta Di Cosmo and Ana Robles Pérez, we will dive into this together. Using historical maps and our own ideas about the future, we will speculate and explore how Zeeland might change once again. The workshop consists of a walk through the surrounding area to map stories and memories. Afterwards, we will head inside the workshop space to work with clay and create a tangible memory for the future.
