Volunteer for Education (m/f/x)
Do you know how to teach children and young people in a fun and inspiring way? Then we are looking for your educational talent!
What can you do for us?
How do we tell the next generations about the 1953 flood disaster? How do we show them why it’s important to think about how we deal with water today? And maybe the most important question: how do we make this interesting and fun?
As a volunteer for education, you help develop our school programs for primary and secondary education. You know how to speak to young people and keep their attention. Maybe you already have experience in education or social projects.
Why volunteer with us?

About the museum
The Watersnoodmuseum wants to keep the memory of the 1953 flood disaster and other floods around the world alive, out of respect for the victims. The museum also wants to help people understand the risks of water and climate change, and think about solutions and actions. In this way, the museum works for a safe and sustainable world with fewer flood victims.
The museum does this mainly by telling stories – about the 1953 flood and other disasters – and inviting visitors to reflect on water, climate change, and rising sea levels. This makes the Watersnoodmuseum the place in the Netherlands and the world where people of all ages think about the dangers and the hope that water brings. A place that connects head and heart.
